and i've been distracted by other projects... like right now, i'm working on new gear and trying to get a business started kind of a busy girl, eh?
So anywho... you've done the pleats all around the skirt right? wasn't it fun... and time consuming... it usually takes me a couple days to do, only cuz i have a very short attention span, so i have a few projects going on that i go back and forth on...
Now, you need a waistband, and it all depends on how wide you want it... Measure your waist, and cut out the width, doubled... cuz you'll be folding the waistband over.
I also used interfacing in the waistband. the iron on stuff...then with right sides together, sew the waistband to the skirt. , i leave the opening on the side of the skirt.., cuz thats where i put my zipper...
once that;s done, fold the waistband and topstitch it down and tada!!!!
Sew the Zipper into the opening, i added a little hook above it and Now it's done :D
Not that hard, is it :D
